- Unit: Family Birthing Center
\n - # beds: L&D - 4, MB - 8
\n - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Adv-AWHONN are required. STABLE preferred. At least 2 year of L&D experience.
\n - Ratios: L&D - 1:2, 1:1 active delivery. MB - 1:4 (couplets)
\n - EMR: Cerner
\n - Charge Nurse: Yes, generally does not take patients, but will do break relief.
\n - Nurse Aides: No
\n - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Nights - Fri, Sat, Sun. Days - Sat, Sun.
\n - Holidays Rotate in with core staff
\n - Scrub Color: Provided
\n - Tele: No
\n - Vents: No
\n - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: During the day. OB on-call, Anesthesia on-call at night.
