Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a NICU position within Women's Services requiring 1 year of recent NICU experience and NRP certification.

Details\n

\n
• Work in the NICU within the Women's Services department of a hospital
\n
• 13-week travel assignment
\n
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (Louisiana or Compact) currently in hand
\n
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
\n
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, Advanced 9th Edition, from the American Academy of Pediatrics
\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience required
\n
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
\n
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
\n
• One professional reference required
\n
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU
\n
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
\n
• Local candidates will not be considered
