Obstetrics & Gynecology, Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Certified Nurse Midwife Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our Womens & Childrens program. This role offers a balanced inpatient and outpatient practice, strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to program development and maternal health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide pregnancy consultation and management, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
\n
• Perform and interpret advanced fetal imaging and ultrasound
\n
• Deliver inpatient consultative support for Labor & Delivery and triage
\n
• Manage 2530 outpatient visits daily
\n
• Coordinate care and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
\n
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe treatments per Virginia regulations
\n
• Educate and support patients and families
\n
• Respond to patient calls and electronic messages; ensure completion of referrals
\n

Additional Duties\n

\n
• Participate in 1:4 call rotation (OB, L&D, triage)
\n
• Engage in quality improvement and program development initiatives
\n
• Optional involvement in staff and provider education
\n
• Opportunity for expanded inpatient or Labor & Delivery roles
\n
• Approximately 4 hours of administrative time weekly
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
\n
• Eligible for Virginia licensure
\n
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
\n
• Interest in ultrasound and consultative care preferred
\n
