- SCP Health seeks a dedicated Medical Director to oversee and direct our dynamic team and Emergency Department at Fort Duncan Regional Hospital. Join us to grow your career, make a meaningful impact, and deliver high-quality care to patients, their family and friends, and their community. \n
- Leads ED operations and provider performance by overseeing recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, quality documentation, and patient satisfaction initiatives to drive clinical and operational excellence. \n
- Serves as a visible clinical leader and role model, collaborating with hospital administration, nursing, and regional teams to develop a shared vision, foster a culture of safety, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. \n
- Annual patient volume: 22,000 \n
- Specialties: OBGYN, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Cardiology, Family Medicine \n
- Coverage model: physicians work 7a-7p and 7p-7a; NPs work 11a-11p \n
- Beds: Hospital 101, ED 14 \n
- EMR: Cerner \n
- Hospital owned lodging available for travelers \n
Qualifications

- Licensure: Current Texas medical license and DEA \n
- Board Certification: Board certified ABEM, ABFM, ABIM \n
- Badges: ACLS and PALS required. ATLS required for ABFM and ABIM. \n

\nAbout Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center: Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center is a progressive acute-care facility and medical center that serves Eagle Pass, Texas and surrounding regions. There are 101 private patient rooms, 14 ED beds, and 4 fast-track beds for patients who have less severe conditions. Equipment includes X-ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT imaging systems. Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the state Regulatory Affairs Department.
\nCommunity Information: Eagle Pass, Texas is located on the border of the Rio Grande River and is home to the historical Fort Duncan. Eagle Pass Independent School District has fifteen elementary schools, two junior high schools and two high schools.
