Maintenance Specialist PRN - Now Hiring

*** PRN employees work up to 29 hours a week and are not elibile for certain benefits ***

What you will do:

• Performs and accomplishes minor maintenance carpentry, electrical, plumbing and fire proofing necessary to the maintenance, repair and renovation of University Health buildings and facilities.
• Ensures safe, competent, efficient, and timely performance of assigned tasks
• Estimates materials, labor costs, and requisitions

What we require:

• Completion of high school, trade school or equivalent GED
• One year experience of at least two or more building crafts such as general maintenance, construction, plumbing or electricity is required.
• Must possess a Maintenance Technician License from the City of San Antonio or obtain same within 3 months of employment.
• A valid Texas State driver's license "Class C" and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record
