Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT-R and BLS certification with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- Adult acute care and outpatient CT setting
- True 7-on/7-off night shift schedule: Week 1 works Wed-Sat (4x10hr shifts), Week 2 works Sun-Tue (3x10hr shifts), 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment along with PACS
- Performs CT scans of abdomen and pelvis, chest, and head/neck with and without contrast
- Performs spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and trauma cases
- Charting system experience required (any EMR)
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist
- ARRT-R and BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and starting peripheral IVs
- Age-specific competency required across neonate, infant, child, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, and older adult populations
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility will not be accepted
- Former staff must wait 1 year before returning in a travel role
- Onboarding modules are completed onsite during orientation
