Position Summary

Trinity Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Newton, NC. This position offers the opportunity to work in both skilled nursing setting, providing diverse and rewarding patient care experiences.

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment programs for individuals experiencing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and patient needs
  • Provide therapy services in both skilled and outpatient environments
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY candidates may be considered)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
