Maintenance Technician

Location: Van Buren, IN

Pay:$35.00/hour

Shift: Day Shift | 4:00 AM – 4:15 PM | 2-2-3 Schedule

Position Summary

A growing food manufacturing facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its maintenance team. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime, improve reliability, and support safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
• Assist with PLC and controls troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Complete work orders and document repairs using a CMMS.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all OSHA, LOTO, GMP, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food & beverage preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated production equipment.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
