You will operate and maintain a high-speed coater line, owning it end to end: set-ups, change-overs, wash-ups, and the mechanical repairs that keep it producing. You are the first line of response when something goes wrong, and you work with quality and management to keep the line running clean and fast.

- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify the mechanical systems on a high-speed coater line

- Run set-ups, change-overs, and wash-ups, and diagnose both mechanical and quality problems

- Work to close tolerances (to .001") using micrometers, dial indicators, and vernier calipers

- Read blueprints, equipment manuals, and parts lists to make the right repair

- Perform and document quality checks, and react fast to negative quality trends

- Keep your area and equipment clean and orderly using 5S

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

- Strong mechanical background and the ability to pass a hands-on mechanics test

- Experience with hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, vernier calipers)

- Able to furnish your own standard hand tools

- Able to work 12-hour shifts, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs

- Experience on high-speed production, packaging, coating, or converting lines

- Ability to read geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprints fluently

????????????: $33.12/hr to start, plus wage premiums and a shift differential

????????????????????????: wage increases every 6 months (May and November)

????????????????????????????????: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday through Saturday plus alternating Wednesdays (12-hour shifts)
