\tThe selected candidate will lead and support in development, implementation and maintenance of various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Candidate will assist in the identification of tooling requirements and processing tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Team member will be responsible for assisting in the investigation and resolution of manufacturing related issues. May also be responsible for collecting data to support producibility assessments for part or product designs. The successful candidate will assist in developing work statements and sequencing of limited scope with internal business partners and in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents. Team member will work under close supervision.
\tPosition Responsibilities:
\tDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
\tProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
\tLead collaboration and integration across the affected commodities
\tResponsible for integrating changes to the affected commodities and executing the Build Integration milestones
\tAnalyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirement
\tDevelops, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
\tInvestigates and resolves manufacturing related issues that come up during manufacturing activities
\tCreate installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San Antonio
\tSupport team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects
\tMay be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs and deadlines
\tResolves complex technical problems
\tProvides guidance to others through structured mentoring
\tThis position will be 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX.
\tBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
\tBachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Engineering degree.
\t9+ years of related work experience
\tExperience in an Electrical Manufacturing Engineering role
\tExperience in wire bundle fabrication concepts, wiring installation, electrical equipment installation or installation of wiring provisions
\t3+ years of experience leading team in a formal and/or informal role
\tExperience leading or managing a cross-functional project
\tPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
\tExperience in commercial or military airplane maintenance and/or modification
\tExperience testing and trouble shooting of commercial aircraft Avionics and Electrical systems
\tExperience using Electrical Design Automation (EDA) Tools such as OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, Altium or PSPICE to perform schematic capture, PB design/layout, and circuit simulation
\tExperience working with WIRS software
\tRegular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.
\tEducation / Experience:
\tBachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Engineering degree.
