\tClient is hiring Expert Level Tooling Manufacturing Planners to join our Production Engineering organization in Everett, Auburn, or Renton Washington.
\tIn this role, you will serve as contributors to help support the implementation and sustainment of new and existing build plans that significantly impact the quality and cost performance of the program. \tPrimary Responsibilities:
\tPlans and leads teams that support implementation of strategic business initiatives and manufacturing and tooling enhancements.
\tAnalyzes new technologies, concepts and processes that simplify and improve manufacturing processes.
\tSupports benchmarking of industry to determine best practices.
\tLeads integration of major, complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
\tParticipates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
\tDevelops unique and innovative tooling requirements in alignment with strategic initiatives.
\tEstablishes processes for managing tooling from initial design to end of use disposition.
\tLeads investigations of critical manufacturing related issues.
\tDevelops and implements solutions involving a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
\tSupports benchmarking of advanced applications and methodologies to support producibility improvements.
\tResearches and develops unique and innovative manufacturing concepts.
\tInfluences the design to ensure efficient manufacturing and optimum value.
\tPresents business case/trade study recommendations to leadership for review.
\tLeads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
\tPerforms high level analysis of schedule and work statement processes to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks.
\tResearches, develops and implements of new manufacturing processes to support long-range goals and strategic initiatives.
\tWorks under consultative direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
\t1 or more years' experience in a manufacturing production environment.
\tAbility to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
\t9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
\tPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
\tExperience in Manufacturing Engineering Planning systems such as Product Data Manager (PDM) and Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP)
