\tClient is seeking a Production Control Coordinator to support the site at Jacksonville, Florida.
Position Responsibilities:
\tProcesses and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions
\tMonitor work in process
\tCommunicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability
\tIdentifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes
\tCoordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays
\tWorks under general supervision
\tBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
\tMinimum 2 years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders
\tMinimum 2 years working with or within one of the following: MRO operations (maintenance, repair, and overhaul), materials management, supply chain, and/or production control, in aviation environment
\tMinimum 2 years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
\tStrong communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and strong drive for process improvement
\tAbility to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts
\tPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
\tExperience supporting manufacturing for non-production materials, tool, and shop supplies
\tAbility to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
\tAbility to walk, stand, climb, and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
\tForklift experience or ability to obtain forklift license
\tExperience with schedule and budget management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
\tExperience working with commercial derivative aircraft platform
\tUnderstanding of Lean, continuous/process improvement methodology
\tEarn value management experience is a plus
\tEducation / Experience:
\tEducation/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
\tPosition Comments:
\tShifts: 2nd shift 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
\tOnsite/remote/hybrid: 100% onsite in Jacksonville, Fl
