Job Description:

• Provides great guest service by answering questions and relaying information in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Must be willing and able to utilize sports book computer system to generate tickets for wagers and to verify and cash out any winning tickets.
• Accurately maintains cash bank and is responsible for balancing.
• Must be willing and able to explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and sports book procedures to guests.
• Adheres to company and departmental policy and procedures.
• Is accountable for accurate paperwork.
• Responsible for complying with MS Gaming Regulations and Title 31 policies.
• Maintains knowledge of property amenities.

 

Qualifications:

• Must have cash handling skills.
• Must be 21 years of age and obtain a MS Gaming badge.
• Must have computer skills.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Previous casino experience.
• Sports enthusiast a plus.
• Must be willing and able to learn new system and all associated Sports Book operational requirements for the position.
• Must be flexible in scheduling.
• Must be dependable.
• Previous experience in race or sports book a plus.
