Our Distribution Center services two states, shipping fireworks to over 1700+ retail and grocery chain stores, such as Walmart, Target, Publix, Sam’s Club and Costco, just to name a few. In addition, we provide our product to over 250 parking lot stands and tents in Florida and Georgia. Gain valuable experience in inventory management, production, shipping and receiving in a fast-paced environment. Be a part of a team atmosphere where each day is unique.
Job Description:
TNT Fireworks is looking for a highly motivated individual for a summer internship in multiple locations across the US. The summer associate will have great exposure to a broad range of logistics functions throughout the organization. S/he will assist in making strategic decisions to drive cost performance and maximize efficiency.
Some of the primary duties include:

- Review cost-effective opportunities to deliver via TNT drivers.
- Interact with Marketing and Sales to manage and coordinate delivery dates/times.
- Track and update LTL shipments, to ensure timely deliveries.
- Analyze and develop routes for drivers to optimize driving time/distance.
- Help with driver recruitment and qualification.
- Help coordinate driver training and availability.
- Track weekly delivery expenses and record them.
- Help develop metrics to track performance.
Secondary Duties:
- Learn and assist in processing shipping documents.
- Assist warehouse supervisors with all operations processes: receiving, shipping, production, etc.
- Contact stores regarding scheduled.
Qualifications:
- Business Management, Business Administration, or Logistics/Supply Chain major preferred.
- Proficient with Excel.
- Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Transportation will be required
