Estimating Assistant/Project Coordinator

RA Holdings Group dba Ladybug Concrete Specialties is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estimating Assistant/Project Coordinator to support our estimating and project management functions. This position plays a critical role in helping prepare bids, review project documents, collect subcontractor and supplier pricing, maintain bid records, and take client phone calls that come in. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient with Microsoft Office, capable of managing multiple deadlines, and interested in building a career in construction estimating and project operations.

Responsibilities:

• Take daily service call duties to estimate various jobs for customers.
• Perform quantity takeoffs.
• Read construction drawings.
• Review bid instructions.
• Organize project documents.
• Track bid due dates.
• Obtain pricing from the client and materials needed for the job.
• Handling AHA/JHA documents.
• Assist with project safety documentation.
• Order Certificate of Insurance forms when receiving work from a customer.
• Assist in helping with backlog and potential business development tasks when needed.

Qualifications:

• College graduate, estimator certificate, or someone that wants to gain hands-on experience in estimating.
• This is an entry level role so no previous estimating experience is required.
• Trade School or construction environment is a plus.
• Microsoft Excel and Word experience is required.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic.
• Great communication skills.
