The Building People, LLC, has an opening for a qualified TRIRIGA Application Developer to:

  • Support a team of technical resources for the common goal of client delivery.
  • Provide support and guidance in the design, development, integration, upgrade and configuration of enhancements to the client’s current implementation of the IBM TRIRIGA software in an US Federal Government environment.
  • Provide operational support, report development, software analysis and design, software development, integration, configuration and testing support, software security design and configuration.
  • Lead project in the software development lifecycle, including performance analysis, design, development, testing
  • Provide operational guidance on managing multiple server environments, such as Production, Development, Test instances
  • Support backups and database updates
  • Review and resolve security vulnerabilities
  • Provide operational guidance with external cloud hosting environments
  • Support application and platform upgrades and patches
  • Provide troubleshooting and debugging to resolve issues
  • Share best practices within and across development team members
  • Engage in and lead in application performance tuning
  • Engage in application architecture and design decisions
  • Discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level Government officials
  • Analyze the organization's needs and provide senior level guidance on the technical design and development.
  • Communicate technical solutions to customer stakeholders to ensure understanding.
  • Lead demonstration of technical solutions and relay feedback to the development team.
  • Perform primary client interface to client management team and to program stakeholders.
  • Define and coordinate testing procedures and develop test cases to support the overall quality assurance process.
  • Perform testing of implemented requirements, lead and support User Acceptance Testing, collect/document results, evaluate and act on feedback.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors.
  • Manage change control board processes for the client.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.
  • Provide support for all technical components required for the operation of TRIRIGA (i.e. system administration functions and support of Oracle, Red Hat, Java, and WebSphere Liberty)

*This position is on-site in Washington, D.C.

Required Experience & Skills

  • At least seven (7) years of experience as a TRIRIGA Developer.
  • Technical familiarity and experience with UX/UI development, Use of OSLC, Data Connect, Data Integrator
  • Technical familiarity with TRIRIGA reporting, including BIRT
  • Familiarity and experience with Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) preferred, such as TRIRIGA, Archibus, Nuvolo, ServiceNow WSD, and FMSystems.
  • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM/CMMS) experience preferred, such as IBM Maximo.
  • Experience with Confluence, Sharepoint, Kanban, Github, Bitbucket and other industry tools
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL)
  • Experience with compiled languages (Java, C++, C#)
  • Experience with scripting languages
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Containerization, and container deployment systems (Redhat Openshift, EKS, ECS)
  • Experience with Java application servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, Wildfly)
  • Experience in workplace management, facilities assessment and management, lease administration, project management, and/or other real property management
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance
  • Experience in working in a team environment for solution delivery.

  • US Citizenship.
  • Ability to meet Federal & DoD Gov’t security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening.
  • Experience working within Federal and DoD IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) teams that may be matrixed across several programs.
  • Operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
