Assistant Director of Nursing

Neighbors Health Center in Byron, IL, Seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). Must be a Registered Nurse.

This is a Full-Time Role with a Salary of $95k annually and negotiable, plus a Full Benefit Package.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

• The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) collaborates with the Director of Nursing (DON)

• Ensure care plans are implemented and delivered in a timely and efficient manner

• Manage the clinical team, develop programs and provide education to staff

• Plan and evaluate nursing systems, rotations and methods with an eye toward improvements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN), licensed in the State of Illinois

• Must have at least three (3) years of experience as a nurse

• ADON experience preferred

• Must have demonstrated leadership and critical thinking skills

• Knowledge of regulations preferred

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing, intermediate or long-term care facility preferred

• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
