Barista & Smoothie Specialist (Café / Grab & Go)

Overview

At Boar’s Head Resort, we are looking for an energetic and guest-focused Barista & Smoothie Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages.

You will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient Grab & Go experience for our guests, while supporting broader Food & Beverage operations during peak times.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and light food items
• Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized guest service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café/Grab & Go area
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems
• Restock products, merchandise, and supplies throughout the shift
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Support Food & Beverage operations as needed, including poolside service support during peak periods
• Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous barista, café, or food & beverage experience preferred
• Positive attitude with a strong guest service mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak summer season

Work Environment

• Fast-paced café and Grab & Go setting
• May include indoor and outdoor service environments
• Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-Time, Seasonal role with variable hours based on business needs
• Opportunity for additional hours through cross-training in other Food & Beverage areas
• Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
