Part Time Steward/Dishwasher

Description:

This position supports daily restaurant service, golf outings, banquets, and special events held both on-site at the golf club and off-site at the Aaron’s Building. A strong Dishwasher helps keep service running smoothly and safely at all times.

• Ability to handle high-volume dish loads during golf outings and events
• Assist with off-site events at the Aaron’s Building as needed, including setup and breakdown
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate and maintain the dish machine according to health and safety standards
• Keep dish area, sinks, floors, walls, and trash areas clean and organized
• Assist with breakdown and cleanup after golf outings, putting parties, banquets, and special events
• Support kitchen staff by restocking clean pans, utensils, and service ware during service
• Help with basic kitchen tasks when needed (trash removal, sweeping, mopping, light prep, event setup/breakdown)
• Ensure all sanitation and food safety standards are met at all times
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately
• Follow all club policies, health department regulations, and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years or old 
• No prior experience required (experience in a restaurant or banquet setting is a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and event days as required
