Shift Details: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

· Shift: AM, PM, and Overnight (Varies by consumer need)

· Hours: Start and end times vary depending on the specific position and consumer needs.

· Days: Availability needs will be discussed during the interview based on current openings.

Core Responsibilities: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

· Personal Care: Assist consumers with daily routines, including transfers, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.

· Home Support: Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment.

· Community Help: Provide transportation to appointments or errands within the Mamou area.

· Daily Documentation: Keep accurate logs of care provided and report any health changes.

Requirements: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

· Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Documents: Valid Driver’s License or Valid ID and Social Security Card

· Background: Must pass all state-mandated background checks and screenings.
