Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) The organization is seeking a dedicated inpatient physical therapist to join the team in a healthcare facility setting. The role involves providing therapy services primarily within inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation departments, with a focus on orthopedic, geriatric, sports, Parkinson's, vestibular, pediatric, lymphedema, and wound care patient populations.
Job Details:
- Certifications required: BLS Certification; State of Wisconsin license or application in place.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend morning rotation and compensation.
- Required Qualifications: Physical Therapist in inpatient setting, at least 1 year of experience, current BLS certification, Wisconsin license or application in process.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous outpatient and travel therapy experience, EPIC electronic charting experience.
- Responsibilities include providing physical therapy services to patients, working primarily in inpatient settings with some outpatient duties, and participating in orientation sessions including EPIC training and Relias Education.
- Additional Information: Candidates should confirm housing arrangements prior to submittal. The role involves working with a team of rehab aides and PTAs, and will include a variety of acute inpatient and hospital-based outpatient duties.
