Primary Goal: Generate qualified client referrals and grow agency census.
Compensation Structure:
- Commission: $250–$1,000+ per new client. (depending on quality of cases)
- Performance Bonuses tied to referrals and revenue goals
Required:
High School Diploma
3 years of Home Care Agency Sales in Private Duty
Key Responsibilities
Referral Development
Build relationships with:
- Hospital discharge planners
- Social workers
- Case managers
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Rehabilitation hospitals
- Assisted living communities
- Independent living communities
- Hospice agencies
- Physicians
- Geriatric care managers
- Elder law attorneys
- Financial planners
- Veterans Affairs Community Care departments
- Medicaid Waiver Coordinators
- Adult Protective Services
- County Departments of Aging
Government Contract Development
Develop relationships with:
- U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
- State Medicaid agencies
- Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
- Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) programs
- Area Agencies on Aging
The chosen applicant should spend approximately:
- 70% of their time building referral relationships (hospitals, physicians, senior living communities, VA, Medicaid, and MCOs)
- 20% on community outreach and events
- 10% on digital marketing, CRM management, and reporting
