Delivery Driver

Qualifications

Must be familiar with triangle area and live within a 40 (+/-) mile radius of our warehouse

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift 25-50 lbs

All applicants must be 21 years of age a possess a good driving record

Criminal background check and pass pre-employment drug screen and performance testing required

Strong work ethic and positive customer service skills

Responsibilities

Inspect truck before during and after trip

Safely operate a dry van with a lift gate or side bay trailer

Unload and deliver product to accounts

Merchandise beer and beverage coolers, stock shelves, rotate product and build displays where applicable

Operate Route technology to track truck inventor

- Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages and merchandise
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Use a forklift to move heavy items and pallets as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle any customer inquiries or concerns regarding deliveries

Skills:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Strong organizational skills to ensure accurate delivery schedules are met
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Note: Previous experience as a courier or in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
