Packer

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in corrugated packaging, is seeking a Packer to join their team.  As a Packer, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packer

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Range: $21.80/hr

Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday 11pm-7am, OT every other weekend)
 

What's the Job?

• Operate strapping and band equipment to secure finished corrugated products
• Stack and organize finished products according to company standards and client specifications
• Monitor quality by checking for damaged boxes or loose bundles
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols
• Assist in preparing products for warehouse storage or shipping

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy bundles
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, loud, and dust-heavy manufacturing environment
• Basic measuring skills and familiarity with manufacturing equipment
• Availability to work scheduled hours and overtime as required
