Description

We are hiring aRegionalSales Manager(RSM) to lead a high-performing Steelcase sales team in the Columbus, Cincinnati, and Pittsburg markets. The RSM will collaborate closely with our dealer partners, Steelcase sales teams, vertical market categories and Steelcase senior leaders to drive profitable growth and gain Steelcase Inc. market share in the Midwest Region.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience selling through and aligning with distribution
Demonstrated formal or informal leadership experience in a team-based sales environment
Proven success selling into Architect & Design Community in a specification driven sales role or as a team leader
Ability to build and execute end-user focused new business development strategies in a market
Located in or willing to relocate to Columbus, OH
4+ years of relevant sales or leadership experience
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of contract furniture industry
Prior management experience. If not formal, then strong evidence and examples of team leadership
Knowledge of local market/region

What You Will Be Doing:

Delivering regional revenue results through direct leadership of seven sales professionals
Leading and motivating the team through shared vision, high empathy, and mutual accountability
Coordinating and deploying additional Steelcase sales resources within the region
Fostering leadership alignment and creating an environment for strong selling synergy with our dealer partners
Developing relationships, brand awareness, and product preference within the Architecture & Design and Commercial -Real Estate communities in this market
Creating and executing market strategies with an emphasis on new business development in competitive accounts and new vertical markets
