Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in schools, particularly with students requiring behavioral or academic support
• Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments or be moved between classrooms as needed
• Current Missouri Substitute Certificate on DESE
• Willingness to complete specific fingerprint background checks (candidate covers fee)
• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students’ educational and behavioral growth as directed by teachers or school staff
• Foster engagement, inclusivity, and a safe classroom atmosphere
• Implement learning activities and provide supervision in various settings (1:1, small groups, classroom)
• Assist with redirection, accommodations, and personalized support plans
• Communicate observations and progress to supervising staff
• Adapt quickly if assigned to different roles or locations throughout the year

Available openings include full-time roles through the school year and a leave coverage position starting as soon as possible. Schedules may vary and a flexible approach will be valued.
