Pay rate:
  • Research Associate: $31-38 per hour
  • Senior Research Associate: $38-50 per hour

Your Role
As a Research Associate in Analytical Development, you’ll become an integral part of a collaborative, innovative laboratory, working alongside seasoned analytical scientists to drive the development of advanced analytical methodologies for protein therapeutics. Your hands-on skills will contribute directly to the identification, characterization, and quality assurance of biologics, as you:
  • Develop, optimize, and validate state-of-the-art analytical methods, including Cell-Based, ELISA, HPLC, CE, PCR, and SDS-PAGE techniques.
  • Participate in the transfer of newly developed methods to Quality Control for GMP-compliant testing, ensuring analytical robustness and regulatory excellence.
  • Perform laboratory experiments to support method development, characterization, and qualification of protein drugs.
  • Document your work thoroughly and accurately, maintaining industry-leading standards for laboratory records and reporting.
  • Assist in training fellow analysts and participate in method transfers to ensure seamless integration with QC operations.
  • Collaborate across departments, providing timely updates and scientific insights that drive process improvement and project success.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing priorities and deadlines while contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Physical Sciences.
  • 2-6 years of hands-on experience in analytical method development for protein biologics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one of: ELISA, Cell-Based Assays, HPLC, CE, icIEF, PCR, SDS-PAGE.
  • Strong working knowledge of scientific principles and bioanalytical techniques.
  • Experience with assay validation/qualification and familiarity with industry regulations is a plus.
