Director of Nursing – Behavioral Health
Bakersfield, CA | $120,000–$135,000/year | Full-Time, Exempt
Join a Youth Inpatient Psychiatric Health Facility as the Director of Nursing, providing leadership for nursing operations, supervising clinical staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality behavioural health care.
Requirements:
- Active California RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Nursing administration experience (1–4+ years based on degree)
- Minimum 1 year supervising RNs in a behavioural health setting within the past 6 years (required)
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing supervisory experience
- Valid California Driver's License
- CPR & Pro-ACT certification (within 30 days of hire)
