Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN to circulate a variety of surgical procedures at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience.

Details\n

\n
• Level II Trauma Center surgical department with 12 OR suites including 2 CVORs
\n
• 1:1 patient ratio with AORN staffing recommendations and support staff such as orderlies, anesthesia techs, and unit secretaries
\n
• Circulate Trauma, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular procedures
\n
• Perform Total Joint procedures, orthopedic trauma, robotic general (including bariatrics), robotic urology, craniotomy, ENT, and plastics procedures
\n
• Documentation via Meditech
\n
• 24-hour Trauma Service coverage with varying shift options including 8s, 10s, and 12s
\n
• Scheduled shift 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
\n
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
\n
• On-call assignments may be required
\n
• Floating required as applicable for skillset pending volume
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active FL or compact RN license required
\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
\n
• Ability to circulate Trauma, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular procedures
\n
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
\n
• Two professional references required for Florida-based assignments
\n
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
\n
