We're looking for a self-starter who enjoys teaching, coaching, and ensuring clinical excellence in a long-term care setting.

Position Details

• Position: RN – Clinical Educator

• Location: Sonora, California

• Contract: 13 Weeks

• Schedule:

  • Day Shift

  • Approximately 40 hours per pay period

  • Typically 3 days one week and 2 days the next

  • Flexible scheduling

What You'll Need

• Active California RN License

• Recent Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience

• Clinical education or staff development experience

• Experience in a Director of Staff Development (DSD) role strongly preferred

• Knowledge of SNF regulations preferred

• BSN preferred

• Self-motivated with strong leadership and communication skills

What You'll Do

• Coordinate orientation and onboarding for new nursing staff

• Develop and deliver clinical education and competency programs

• Mentor and support preceptors and nursing staff

• Plan and conduct classroom and bedside education sessions

• Maintain education records and competency documentation

• Identify learning needs and implement staff development initiatives

• Collaborate with leadership to improve clinical practice and regulatory compliance

• Support quality improvement and evidence-based nursing practice
