Job Description:

\tPrimary Responsibilities:
\tDevelop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
\tParticipate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
\tDevelop, identify, and implement conceptual designs while maintaining the program architecture for build.
\tLead and implement manufacturing plans.
\tConduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability aligns with requirements.
\tAssist in providing producibility information for project plans and document best practices.
\tAnalyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
\tResolve technical problems that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule.
\tCoordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.
\tValidate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
\tImplement lean principles and technologies
\tWork Authorization Statement:
\tThis position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
\tThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
\tBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
\tMust have a Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and applicable experience in a professional exempt engineering classification.
\t5+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
\t5+ years of engineering experience related to the development, selection, and/or revision of parts, materials, and process specifications for production testing, electrical subsystems, aircraft interiors, and other aircraft systems.
\tPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
\t5+ years of experience in production planning, including ownership of value stream build plans.
\tExperience with 787 systems, build plans, production testing, electrical installations, and/or aircraft interiors is a plus.
\tAbility to be flexible and adaptable in a diverse and demanding work environment and schedule.
\tEducation / Experience:
\tEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
