RN Med-Surg Nights

Job Description:

\tRequired Experience:
\t4+years recent acute care experience, some experience in stepdown needed for Night shift, Meditech IVs, telemetry, able to adapt quickly to different units.
\tMust have 1 recent successful travel contract.
\tMust be adaptable to 5 different MedSurg/Tele units.
\tMust be able to independently read telemetry strips and pass on-site exam on Day 1 with an 84% or better (2 attempts).
\tIMCU or step-down experience (for night shift) who is comfortable managing titratable IV drips. Specifically, someone experienced with nitroglycerin, amiodarone, and diltiazem infusions.
\tStrongly prefer EPIC experience.

Preferred Experience:

\t5+ years previous float experience
\tRequired Certifications/ licenses: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
\tDepartment Details: M7: Med surg unit ortho, urology, neurology, GYN 6W: cardiology/telemetry 7E: Surgery CMS6: Cardio-thoracic
