BDC - Business evelopment Center employee

Tim Short Chevrolet is looking for A Business Development Center (BDC) employee—manages inbound/outbound phone, email, and internet leads to secure appointments for the sales or service departments. They focus on increasing customer satisfaction and dealership traffic by following up on inquiries, updating CRM systems, and adhering to specific communication scripts. 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Management: Respond to internet requests and inbound calls promptly, converting leads into sales/service appointments.

• Outbound Calling: Make outbound calls to follow up with potential customers, unsold leads, and to confirm or reschedule appointments.

• Database Management: Utilize CRM tools to log customer interactions, update contact information, and track lead status.

• Customer Service: Address customer questions, resolve issues, and provide information regarding inventory or promotions.

• Reporting: Track personal performance metrics, such as appointment show rates and closing percentages. 

 

Common Requirements

• Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, strong computer skills, and ability to handle high-volume phone work.

• Experience: Previous customer service or sales experience is preferred; automotive BDC experience is a plus but not required.

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Environment: Fast-paced, office-based environment within a dealership.
