Job Details
- Position Description: The role entails working primarily in acute care, covering various inpatient floors and occasionally evaluating or treating in inpatient rehab units. The technician will collaborate within a team of six physical therapists, supporting both Lufkin and Livingston locations during designated periods, with potential weekend coverage planned in advance. The core focus is on inpatient rehab, with about 90% of work occurring on the unit and the remaining 10% in orthopedic or medical-surgical floors.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience; licensed to submit credentials; experience in inpatient physical therapy.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, with shift hours negotiable between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, utilizing 4-10-hour shifts or 5-8-hour shifts, potentially including planned weekend coverage.
- Additional Information: The therapist should be efficient, able to treat four inpatient rehab patients per day, and complete documentation within an 8-hour shift. The typical patient census target is 22 units per span of 8 hours. The assignment spans from 11/09/2026 through 01/18/2027.
