Lead Pool Construction Laborer

Thirteen Stripes Landscapes LLC DBA, Patriot Pools & Spas is seeking a Lead Pool Construction Laborer to support the hands-on building of high-quality residential swimming pools in Cornelius, NC.

Position Summary

The Lead Pool Construction Laborer is a hands-on, field-focused role responsible for assisting with and leading pool construction tasks from prep through finish. You’ll help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification while maintaining strong jobsite organization.

This position is ideal for an experienced laborer who takes initiative, can coordinate daily activities with the team, and understands the importance of craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the build process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of pool construction, including site preparation, material handling, assembly tasks, and on-site installation support.

• Support daily jobsite setup and cleanup to keep work areas safe, organized, and ready for scheduled progress.

• Follow project plans, measurements, and build requirements to support accurate installation and consistent results.

• Lead or guide crew activities as needed, helping assign tasks and maintain steady workflow.

• Identify basic material or process issues early and communicate them to the supervisor to support timely resolution.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions, including lifting and working on uneven or jobsite terrain.

• Demonstrated experience in construction or hands-on landscaping/pool-related labor work.

• Willingness to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free worksite.

• Strong reliability and punctuality with a focus on completing tasks thoroughly.

• Basic ability to read and follow instructions and job specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assisting with pool construction, hardscapes, or concrete-related tasks.

• Familiarity with jobsite tools and general construction practices.

• Experience leading or mentoring other laborers on a team.

• Comfort contributing to quality checks and troubleshooting during install.

• A strong understanding of how to maintain organization and workflow on active construction sites.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $22.00 - $27.00
