Accounts Payable Inventory Clerk (Covington)

Mon-Fri

8:00am - 5:00pm

$18.00 - $19.00

Covington, LA

Purpose: Processing and reconciling invoices to ensure timely payments to the vendors according to discount or non-discount terms using a 3-way match system.

Responsibilities:

• Review Vendor invoices for accuracy and resolve all discrepancies
• Use company policy and procedures to resolve issues according to the type of discrepancy
• Identify and confirm terms of vendors and ensure all discount terms are met
• Match purchase orders to the respective invoices
• Communicate with vendors regarding pending issues as needed
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Provide customer service to the sales centers, vendors, team members and other departments
• Communicate and identify processing issues to the management
• Process and resolve warranty issues
• Process and reconcile vendor credits

Skills/Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience specifically with purchase order matching skills
• Problem solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Good listening skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organizational skills
• Computer skills (10 keys/Excel)
• Time and stress management skills
• Flexible and focused
