JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, AOBEM, AOBFM, AOBIM)
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Mississippi medical license and DEA registration with Mississippi address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA registration with Mississippi address required
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), ATLS, PALS, BLS (unless EM boarded)
• Experience: Residency trained in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Other Qualifications: Current CV, case logs, CME documentation for past 2 years, immunization records

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide coverage for emergency department shifts (12-hour day or night shifts) as scheduled.
• Evaluate and manage patients presenting with acute medical conditions and emergencies.
• Collaborate with hospitalist team and other specialists as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all credentialing, licensing, and hospital requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
