Job Description
This role focuses on safely loading and unloading windows in the warehouse’s window section as part of a small team of three. You will handle windows by hand, move them on and off trucks, and support overall material flow to ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. The position is physically demanding and requires consistent attention to safety, teamwork, and productivity.
Responsibilities- Load and unload windows onto and off trucks by hand, ensuring all products are handled safely and efficiently.
- Work in a small team of three in the windows section of the warehouse, contributing effectively both as an individual and as a team member.
- Slide windows across the floor when appropriate to reduce physical strain while maintaining safety and product integrity.
- Perform general labor tasks related to material handling, including moving, staging, and organizing materials as directed.
- Use RF scanners to pick orders accurately and maintain real-time inventory and shipment records.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading materials, verifying counts, and assisting with documentation as needed.
- Perform order picking and packing tasks to ensure correct items are prepared and staged for shipment.
- Assist with warehouse inventory activities, including counting, tracking, and organizing stock to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts when qualified and authorized, following all safety procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Lift, carry, push, and move materials, including frequent lifting up to 30 pounds and occasional heavier team lifts up to 80 pounds.
- Perform tasks that may involve climbing, kneeling, and other physical movements required in a production and warehouse setting.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow established production and warehouse procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work, resolve issues, and support smooth warehouse operations.
- Experience performing general labor and material handling tasks in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, including frequently lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds and participating in team lifts for heavier loads up to 80 pounds.
- Demonstrated safety-oriented mindset with a commitment to following all safety procedures and participating in safety training.
- Experience with RF scanners for order picking, inventory tracking, and shipping and receiving activities.
- Proficiency in order picking, loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, and warehouse inventory support.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, pushing, and kneeling as required by daily duties.
- Experience with warehouse picking, packing, and basic production tasks.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors and adapt to temperature variations, dust, noise, and other production-related conditions.
- Previous warehouse experience, including picking, packing, and shipping and receiving responsibilities.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment, where properly trained and authorized.
- Familiarity with safety practices in production and warehouse environments.
- Comfort working with mechanical parts, around increased noise levels, and in areas where hazardous chemicals may be present.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials, picking orders, and updating inventory records.
- Willingness to participate in cross-training to learn additional roles and responsibilities within the warehouse.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
