St. Luke Lutheran Community is seeking compassionate Weekend Warrior State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our team at our beautiful Portage Lakes campus near Turkeyfoot Lake in Akron, Ohio.

Our Weekend Warrior Program allows caregivers to work 24 hours and get paid for 32 hours, or work 32 hours and get paid for 40 hours, while providing quality care in a smaller, supportive facility with lower-acuity residents.

Weekend Warrior Schedule

Friday – Sunday

STNA Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning

• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff

• Support meal service and assist with feeding when needed

• Maintain a clean and safe resident environment

• Work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Active Ohio State-Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification

• Long-term care experience preferred

• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Candidates must complete a pre-employment physical and BCI fingerprinting background check.
