Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a growing company in Lacon, IL that is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Welder/Fabricator. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in welding, fabrication, machining, and custom metal builds who enjoy hands-on work and taking pride in quality craftsmanship.
Job Responsibilities: - Perform MIG welding on a variety of steel components
- Fabricate and assemble large generator enclosures
- Complete custom fabrication projects according to specifications and blueprints
- Operate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist with machining and metalworking tasks as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
- Perform frequent heavy lifting and material handling
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- Fabrication and machining experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
