Cafeteria Cook

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Cafeteria Cook to join their team. As a Cafeteria Cook, you will be part of the Food Services Department supporting the hospital staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cafeteria Cook

Location: Lake City, FL

Pay Range: $17.91

Shift: open rotation

What's the Job?

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for multiple meal periods including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards to deliver high-quality meals.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food safety procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including early mornings or evenings.
