$65,000 - $90,000 yearly + commission
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications and collaborate with stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed proposals and bid documents, ensuring all project requirements are met.
- Conduct site visits to gather essential data and assess project conditions.
- Utilize industry-standard software to create comprehensive cost breakdowns.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to clarify project scope and expectations.
- Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to ensure financial targets are met.
Qualifications:
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Have a working knowledge of applicable building codes.
Strong computer skills are a must.
2 plus years of experience in Construction and/or Restoration estimating.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Provide superior customer-client experience.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Ability to negotiate subcontractors' pricing/cost.
Must be able to be on call after hours for emergency calls on a rotational basis.
Experience with Xactimate and DASH.
