Position Summary
We are seeking a Sandblaster for a manufacturing facility in Springfield, Ohio. The Sandblaster will use sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting and other finishing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces
- Remove rust, paint, debris, and other surface materials as needed
- Prepare containers and crates for painting and finishing
- Inspect surfaces to ensure they are properly prepared
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work overtime as required, including after scheduled hours and weekends
