Job Summary
CT Technologist, CT Prowers. This healthcare organization is seeking a skilled CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independent judgment and technical proficiency to produce high-quality radiographs for diagnosis and treatment.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Graduate with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registry, with 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Perform CT and X-Ray examinations, produce radiographs using proper technical factors, evaluate film exposure and positioning, schedule exams, instruct patients on preparations, and organize radiographic procedure rooms. Report directly to the imaging services supervisor.
- Additional Information: Required mental agility to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and patients; ability to work independently and adapt in emergency situations; physical dexterity to operate equipment and handle patient mobility needs, including lifting and maneuvering patients and equipment.
