Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience in a hospital setting
• At least 2 years of experience working in surgery
• ARRT certification required
• Active Ohio Radiology License required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with GE C-arms required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Experience with radiology information systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures in support of emergency, surgery, portable, and radiology department workflows
• Position and immobilize patients safely while maintaining comfort and dignity
• Obtain relevant clinical history and ensure documentation is accurate and complete
• Operate imaging equipment and accessories according to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
• Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures as needed
• Prepare patients and equipment for exams, including contrast and medication-related support when appropriate
• Evaluate images for technical quality and document dose exposures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow healthcare team members to support excellent patient care
• Help maintain efficient patient flow in a high-volume diagnostic imaging environment
