Job Summary
Xray Technologist The healthcare provider is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting in September. The role involves providing diagnostic imaging services in a busy imaging department, supporting inpatient and outpatient care with a variety of radiographic procedures.
Job Details
- Certifications/Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited AMA school, registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and maintains a state license as a general radiographer. Minimum of 1 year of surgery experience preferred.
- Schedule: Days, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Position Responsibilities: Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and routine procedures, under the supervision of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
- Additional Information: Possible floating to outpatient imaging center. No call required. The department handles an average of 325 patients daily, with high x-ray volume. EMR system used is Cerner.
