A well-established manufacturing facility in Lake Zurich, IL is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to support operations through precise tooling, maintenance, and press setup work.

Requirements of the Tool and Die Maker

• Skilled in the use of calipers, micrometers, height gages, and pin gages
• Proficient understanding of GD&T
• Hands-on experience with mills, grinders, drill presses, band saws, and lathes
• Ability to independently set up a variety of stamping presses in a production environment
• Must provide own hand tools

Responsibilities of the Tool and Die Maker

• Manage and execute preventative maintenance (PM) activities for tooling, following established work instructions and schedules
• Maintain and update die spare parts lists to ensure necessary items are stocked and available
• Diagnose and resolve tooling issues on the production floor with minimal downtime
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support the build of new tools, fixtures, and components based on customer requirements
• Perform punch press setups and adjustments as needed

1st shift, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $42.00 - $45.00 an hour, based on experience
