Key Responsibilities Field Work: Operate tractors, mowers, tedders, rakes, and balers to cut, and windrow hay crops.

Baling & Loading: Monitor baling operations, stack round bales, and load trailers in varying weather conditions.

Transport & Storage: Haul harvested hay from fields and unload/stack it neatly in barns or sheds to prevent spoilage.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre- and post-operation checks, basic repairs, and general cleanup on all haying machinery and tools.

Skills and Qualifications Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (often 40–80 lb square bales) repeatedly and work long hours in hot, dusty outdoor conditions.

Machinery Experience: Safe operation and basic troubleshooting skills for tractors and hay attachments.

Reliability: Strong work ethic and flexibility to work overtime during peak dry-weather harvest windows.
