Groundskeeper - NW

An educational facility is seeking a Groundskeeper to support the upkeep and appearance of the campus grounds.  This is a first shift position working 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with mowing, trimming, raking, and general lawn care
• Plant, water, weed, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and debris from campus grounds
• Help with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow shoveling, and ice control
• Operate basic groundskeeping tools and equipment under supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance experience is helpful but not required
• Must have the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes pride in your work
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Must have the ability to ensure the grounds are always well-kept and safe for employees, students, and visitors
