We're seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a leading rehabilitation team in beautiful Tampa, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated clinician who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based treatment, education, and compassionate care.
You'll work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals recover from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, and other functional limitations while supporting them on their journey back to independence.
What You'll Do- Perform comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to assess rehabilitation needs
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and physician direction
- Assess strength, mobility, gait, balance, functional abilities, and range of motion
- Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions designed to maximize function and independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
- Train patients in the safe use of assistive devices, prosthetics, walkers, and therapeutic equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care initiatives
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with state regulations and company policies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state practice acts, and all regulatory requirements
β Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
β Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
β Minimum of 1 year of outpatient Physical Therapy experience required
β Current CPR/BLS Certification
β Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills
β Excellent communication and documentation abilities
β Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements What We're Looking For β Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Florida (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) β Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program β Minimum 1 year of outpatient Physical Therapy experience required β Current CPR/BLS certification β Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills β Experience working with orthopedic, post-surgical, and rehabilitation patients β Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams β Proficiency with EMR systems and timely clinical documentation
