We're seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a leading rehabilitation team in beautiful Tampa, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated clinician who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based treatment, education, and compassionate care.

You'll work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals recover from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, and other functional limitations while supporting them on their journey back to independence.

 What You'll Do
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to assess rehabilitation needs
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and physician direction
  • Assess strength, mobility, gait, balance, functional abilities, and range of motion
  • Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions designed to maximize function and independence
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
  • Train patients in the safe use of assistive devices, prosthetics, walkers, and therapeutic equipment
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries
  • Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care initiatives
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with state regulations and company policies
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state practice acts, and all regulatory requirements
Qualifications

 

βœ… Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice

βœ… Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

βœ… Minimum of 1 year of outpatient Physical Therapy experience required

βœ… Current CPR/BLS Certification

βœ… Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills

βœ… Excellent communication and documentation abilities

βœ… Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
